Olga trophy of the runner-up in Lausanne

Serbian tennis grace, 21-year-old Olga Danilovic, shone last week at the WTA 250 tournament in Lausanne, Switzerland.

From qualifications, Olga reached the single finals with a streak of six victories. In her quest for the second WTA trophy in her career, Danilovic was stopped in the finals of this competition worth 251,750 dollars by the representative of Croatia Petra Martic 4:6, 2:6.

Billie Jean King Cup Serbian national team member and member of TC Novak Danilović, who reached 5th place in the world as a junior, won three junior Grand Slam titles in doubles (Roland Garros 2016, Wimbledon and US Open 2017), at the age of 17 she won the WTA trophy of the prize fund of 700,000 dollars and became the first tennis player in the world born in the new millennium who managed to win the WTA title, in 2022. Lausanne she reached two finals, including one title.

Along with the title of vice-champion in singles, Olga also won the title in doubles competition with her double partner from France, Kristina Mladenović.
