Six TC Novak at the Serbia Ladies Open

The first in the history of Belgrade women’s pro tournament from the WTA calendar had its premiere on the courts of the Novak Tennis Center. The qualifying competition started on May 15, and famous names from both the hosts and world scene will compete for a place in the main competition. The WTA Serbia Ladies Open 2021 will host as many as six tennis players who are members of TC Novak, of whom three young players will be looking for a way to the main competition through qualifications: Elena Milovanović, Draginja Vuković and Iva Šepa. TC Novak and Serbia will be represented in the main draw by confirmed champions of “white sports” on the world map, Billy Jean King Cup of the national team of our country: multiple junior Grand Slam champion, also the first player in the world born in the new millennium to reach the WTA trophy Olga Danilović, then the former junior first tennis player on the planet, world junior champion under 14 with the Serbian national team, before two years ago 86th on the WTA list, Ivana Jorović, who shares 6th place with Serena Williams in the history of the fastest serves. The third and at the same time the youngest member of TC Novak who will have a direct participation in the main competition of the WTA tournament in the capital of Serbia is 16-year-old Lola Radivojevic, the greatest young hope of Serbian women’s tennis, she is the 56th junior on the planet. The colors of the Serbian flag at the WTA Serbia Ladies Open 2021 will be presented by the best tennis player in our country Nina Stojanović, in the singles qualifiers we will also watch our national team players Aleksandra Krunić and Dejana Radanović, and we will enjoy the masterpieces of world women’s tennis aces, such as Anastasia Pavljučenkova, Julija Putinceva, Kristina Mladenovic, Andrea Petkovic….
