Viktor Troicki, a retired professional tennis player who was active from 2003 to 2021, has a career best ranking of 12th in the ATP singles category (achieved in 2011) and 49th in the ATP doubles category (achieved in 2010). With the Serbian national team, Troicki has achieved success in all major tennis tournaments. Notably, he won the Davis Cup in 2010 and secured the winning point for his country by defeating the French player Llodra on the third day of the final matchup, a decisive fifth match. In addition, he won the World Team Cup in Düsseldorf in 2009 and 2012 and became the champion of the ATP Cup in 2020 during the tournament’s inaugural competition in Australia.
In December 2020, Troicki became the selector of the Davis Cup national team, marking a new chapter in his tennis career. His ATP Cup win in 2020 also made him the first player in the Open Era to win all three major national competitions, including the Davis Cup in 2010 and the World Team Cup in 2009 and 2012. Troicki’s game style is characterized by his powerful serve, which is his strongest asset on the court.
